Background

The club opened in September 2001 and is a community youth programme managed and run by Camden Sports Council. It offers foil and sabre fencing at beginner, recreational and competitive levels. The club members are boys and girls aged between seven to seventeen. Most live in and/or attend schools in Camden. We may accept youngsters from adjoining boroughs providing that they live in close proximity of the club. Current membership is 115 fencers. The foil section has an equal number of boys and girls

The club is based at Acland Burghley School, London NW5 IUJ. This is in Tufnell Park on the east side of the Borough. We use modern facilities specifically a sports hall and gymnasium offering 12 pistes. For competitions the club uses the auditorium which can seat over 200 people. The school also provides car parking facilities.
