On 1st & 2nd September 2009 our 3 sabre coaches, Ian Williams & Gildas Braine & Rob Partridge, cycled from Camden to the UK School Games in Cardiff to raise funds to enable our top fencers to compete internationally this season. Camden Fencing Club secured funding from Sports England 'Sport Unlimited Programme'
Camden Fencing Club in partnership with local authority have secured funding from Sports England 'Sport Unlimited Programme'. From September 2009 our head sabre coach, Ian Williams, will be working in 5 primary schools in the borough offering taster and beginner classes.
GLL Camden International Cadet Sabre Tournament 2010
GLL Camden International Cadet Sabre Tournament is a nominated event on the European Cadet Circuit and will be held on 6th-7th February 2010. The competition has secured sponsorship once again from GLL.

British Senior Championships (Sheffield), 25th-26th July 2009
Curtis Miller (aged 17) won Men's Sabre Individual bronze. In Men's Sabre Team event, Camden Team [Curtis & Soji Aiyenuro (aged 15) & Fabio Artesi (aged 15) & Gianfranco Artesi (aged 15)] finished 4th.
Camden Fencing Club appeared on Channel 4
Camden Fencing Club appeared on 4 Sports Destination 2012 on 15th February 2009. This was a 10 week series covering 18 Olympic Sports profiling current and future champions and medallists.
Introducing Fencing to Borough's Primary Schools
Camden Fencing Club has linked up with the Local Authority to introduce fencing in 2009 to three primary schools in borough. Sessions are held weekly at Brookfield,Gospel Oak and Torriano.
