GLL Camden International Cadet Sabre Tournament

The only International Tournament in Britain which has been accredited on the Cadet Circuit organised and run by the European Fencing Confederation. The tournament offers individual and team events for both boys and girls who are Under 17.

This tournament will be sponsored by GLL (Greenwich Leisure Limited), which is UK's largest leisure trust managing 65 sports and leisure centres in 14 London Boroughs including Camden.

GLL will be providing 12 Training Centres including Crystal Palace for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.

GLL has recently established the GLL Sport Foundation to recognise and support talented young athletes. The Foundation plans to initially support 250 young athletes in 2008 across 34 different sports including Olympic, Paralympic and small number of Deaflympic Athletes, working towards as many as 800 by 2012. The estimated value of the support from the GLL Sport Foundation is around £1.5million by 2012.
