Ian Williams

Former Senior National Sabre Coach. During his competitive career Ian topped the British Mens Senior Sabre rankings eight times during the period 1989 -1998. He represented Great Britain at 3 Junior World Championships, 9 Senior World Championships and the 1992 Olympic Games. Ian is currently coaching at Camden Fencing Club and Scimitar Fencing Club. Rob Partridge

Matthieu Gourdain

Matthieu won two silver medals (individual and team) at the Olympic Games, Sydney 2004 and has twice been the World Sabre Champion. He is a qualified fencing teacher.

Gildas Braine

Gildas has been coaching at Camden since the summer of 2005 and often travels with the members to competitions as sabre coach. Gildas has been fencing for 22 years. He has fenced with all three weapons. He now concentrates on sabre and is currently ranked amongst Britain's top ten sabreurs.
